Climate change panel discussion
Climate change policy event on March 19, 2024 to all your students, postdocs, faculty and staff. We have invited four federal/state climate policy representatives as panelists for two discussions, one focused on students and post-doctoral associates and another on research and extension faculty and staff.

WHAT and WHEN? Two panel discussions on climate policy, and research and extension directions for ag and natural resources.
Panel 1 (9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, March 19th, 2024)
· Topic: Climate change policy careers
· Primary target audience: Graduate students and post-doctoral associates
· What will you learn? Hear from panelists with diverse career paths. What types of climate policy career opportunities exist? How does one find them? How does one prepare for such jobs? What does one actually do on a day-to-day basis?
Panel 2 (10:30 AM to noon, March 19th, 2024)
· Topic: Climate change research and extension opportunities in today’s evolving policy landscape
· Primary target audience: Research and extension faculty and staff
· What will you learn? How federal and state level climate change policy is rapidly evolving and how that can influence opportunities for research and extension programs and funding?
