Bio 572: Quantitative methods and statistics in ecology

Biology 572: Quantitative Methods and Statistics in Ecology (4 cr.) is a class aimed at students for whom standard, “canned” statistical methods are insufficient or unsatisfying. We will learn to use a Bayesian approach to fit models—from simple linear regressions to discipline- or question-specific scientific models—to data for purposes of understanding causal inferences or statistical prediction. See the syllabus for more information.
