New seminar series!

CEREO and the Native American Program are very pleased to co-sponsor a semester of discussions with tribal scientists, educators, and community leaders as we explore traditional approaches to natural resource management.  Planned for the last Wednesday of each month at 3pm, our guests this semester include:

2/23: Todd Mitchell (Swinomish), WSU Alum and Swinomish Director of Natural Resources
3/20: Rose Bear Don’t Walk (Flathead/Crow), Salish Plant Society
4/27: Traditional Foods and Food Sovereignty Panel including Josiah Pinkham (New Perce), Stephanie Blair (Sault Ste. Marie Chippewa/Inupiat), MJ DeRosier (Piikani), and Molly Carney
