Water Economics and Policy Analysis AGEC 404 (University of Idaho)
Students will learn skills to help them understand the role of economics in water resource planning. Course material will include a brief introduction to water law, basic hydrology concepts, and the economic tools necessary to evaluate irrigation, urban, and environmental water use decisions. This includes linear programming, cost-benefit analysis, residual imputation methods, regression analysis, and non-market valuation techniques.
