USGS Seeking Directors for Five Regional Climate Adaptation Science Centers

The U.S. Geological Survey is currently seeking to hire a Director for the Northwest Climate Adaptation Science Center, along with four additional regional Climate Adaptation Science Center (CASC) Director positions including the Southeast CASC, Northeast CASC, South Central CASC and Pacific Islands CASC. These positions will be hired as Supervisory Physical Scientists/Biologists (GS-0401/1301-15). These positions are currently open – the application deadline is October 23, 2018.
The regional Climate Adaptation Science Centers, under the direction of the USGS National Climate Adaptation Science Center, deliver science to address stakeholder-defined priority climate needs through close collaboration with natural and cultural resource managers and scientists.
