Palouse Conservation District Volunteer and Internship Opportunities

Palouse Conservation District is seeking interns looking for valuable learning opportunities that help develop life long skills, as well as gaining a deeper understanding of concepts learned in classes through hands-on applications, as well as related work experience. Successful interns will have the desire to gain experience in conservation practice implementation and maintenance, outreach, and community engagement. Internships are offered year-round with a maximum of 240 hours available. Interns can also achieve academic credit if arranged through an academic adviser.
We will also be hosting weekly volunteers events through the WSU Center for Civic Engagement. For the Fall, they will be occurring on Wednesday and Friday afternoons, but we will start to have volunteer opportunities on the weekends as well. Any interested students can sign up for these volunteer events through CougSync and searching under the Palouse Conservation District’s events.
