“Connecting communities for health: How WSU’s work in eastern Africa impacts health in western North America”
April 18, 2017 at 4:30pm Seattle Marriott Waterfront-2100 Alaskan Way Seattle WA.
Reception to follow 5:30-7:00pm
The spread of disease and antibiotic resistance is a global phenomenon linked to interactions between people, their animals and their environments. WSU’s Paul G. Allen School for Global Animal Health is celebrating 10 years of exploring these interactions and developing interventions that benefit communities in Africa, and help mitigate spread of disease to the U.S. and around the world.
The event will feature a panel moderated by Washington Global Health Alliance’s Tina Vlasaty. Regents Professor Guy Palmer will lead the panel in sharing lessons learned in the past decade, and the advancements to come in collaboration with members of Washington’s strong global health community.
