NSPIRE: Graduate students at the science: policy interface

The NSF IGERT-NSPIRE program is a multidisciplinary graduate program that provides students interested in nitrogen cycling issues with rigorous academic training as well as guidance and experience on how to translate their research into science information useful for policy makers. As part of the program, students in the NSPIRE program are given the opportunity to select an agency or organization within which to spend a three-month science/policy internship. The students describe their policy internships in the new video co-produced by CEREO and the Murrow College of Communication.
