Dr. Craig McGowan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Idaho and a faculty member in the WWAMI Medical Education Program. His research group, the Comparative Neuromuscular Biomechanics Lab, studies how animals (including humans) move through their environments. The CNBL examines everything from mice to grizzly bears, with the goal of understanding the evolution of musculoskeletal design and the relationships between anatomy and performance.
