Bugs- Recognition of Cryptic Species

Dr. James B. (Ding) Johnson (Ph.D. Entomology, UC-Davis) is an emeritus Professor of Entomology and Department Head in the Department of Plant, Soil, and Entomological Sciences at the University of Idaho.  He has conducted externally funded research on insect biology and systematics, emphasizing green lacewing of the genus Chrysoperia, biological control of insect pests, rangeland entomology, and the impacts of ants on radioactive waste for 34 years.
