Stephanie Labou- Data Manager & Research Assistant
Stephanie Labou is the data manager and research assistant for CEREO. She works on a variety of projects, providing assistance on everything from data organization and analysis to code review and making publication-quality graphics. Stephanie is also a certified Software Carpentry and Data Carpentry instructor and runs workshops to teach researchers best practices in data management and the fundamentals of scientific programming.
Stephanie earned her BS in ecology at the University of California San Diego and her MS in marine resource management at Oregon State University. She has previously worked on aquatic issues such as phytoplankton growth in response to point and non-point nutrient inputs and infaunal species-habitat associations in areas of prospective wave energy development.
